FlowPilot Manual
Creating a Project
This walkthrough covers setting up a second project, defining its workflow with the AI assistant's help, and upgrading to Pro for unlimited AI messages and projects.
Start a new project
- Go to app.flowpilot.space and click the + New Project button in the top menu to start a new project.
- When you first set up your account, the project creation process will begin automatically.
1. Set up your project workflow
- You can start by building a new workflow in FlowPilot or by using an existing project as a template.
- Select one option and click Continue.
2. Select a project type
- FlowPilot includes pre-built templates for tech and education projects.
- Select the project type and click Continue.
3. Build a workflow
- FlowPilot can help you build a workflow by setting up project phases and Google Drive directories.
- If you already have a folder structure you prefer, select Use an existing workflow and choose the target structure to replicate.
- Otherwise, select Let's build one together.
4. Define project phases
- Define your project's phases. For example: Develop marketing plan, Website build, and Outreach.
- If you are unclear about any of the project phases, or how the workflow works, just ask the FlowPilot AI assistant.
- Ask the FlowPilot AI assistant to suggest additional phases — it can propose ones like Content production and Launch based on your project.
5. Name your project and finish setup
- Enter your project name and any details you'd like included.
- Click Confirm & Create Project.
6. Manage tasks and upgrade to Pro
- Use the AI chat to generate initial tasks, such as defining a target audience or identifying competitors.
- Free accounts have a limit on AI messages. If you hit that limit, you can upgrade to Pro for unlimited AI messages and projects. Upgrading to Pro is free during the beta period.
- To upgrade, click your profile icon, add a payment method, and click Subscribe.
- BETA NOTE: We do not use real credit card information during beta. Check out the video that walks through setting up a Pro account using a test card.
