Enterprise

FlowPilot supports a simple three-tier access model for enterprise teams:

  • Super admins are the platform-level owners. They manage the broader enterprise setup, create workspaces, invite admins, and control access at the highest level.
  • Admins are responsible for a specific workspace or organization. They invite members, assign roles, manage onboarding, and oversee project activity.
  • Team members are the people doing the actual work. They join through an invite, collaborate on projects, complete tasks, and contribute to boards, roadmaps, and reports.

This walkthrough shows how a super admin sets up an enterprise environment, invites admins, adds team members, and helps students collaborate inside projects.

1. Log in as a super admin

If you are setting up the enterprise system for the first time, you will receive an email inviting you to your enterprise account.

  • Open the activation email.
  • Click "Activate your account".
  • Set a password and sign in.

Once signed in, you will have access to your personal workspace, your enterprise workspace, and the workspace management page.

You can access all of these from the "My Workspace" menu in the top navigation.

2. Create a new workspace

To create a new workspace:

  1. Click your workspace in the top menu, then select "Manage enterprise workspace".
  2. Click "+ New workspace".
  3. Name the workspace, optionally add another super admin, and click "Create Workspace".

This creates the organization container for the people, workspaces, and projects inside it.

3. Invite admins

After creating the workspace, invite the people who will help manage it.

  1. Click "+ Add member".
  2. Enter the user’s name and email address.
  3. If needed, add users in bulk with the CSV upload option.
  4. Confirm the correct workspace is selected, then click "Add & invite".
  5. In the Members panel, open the three-dot menu next to the user and select "Make admin".

Admins can help run the organization, invite additional members, and oversee project activity.

4. Create team members and manage onboarding

Once the workspace is set up, admins can create team member accounts in one of two ways:

  • create a user manually
  • add users in bulk using a CSV import

For a larger group, CSV upload is usually the fastest option. This is especially helpful when onboarding an entire class, department, or team.

In either case, the process is:

  1. Click "+ Add member".
  2. Enter the user’s name and email address.
  3. If needed, use the CSV upload option.
  4. Confirm the correct workspace is selected, then click "Add & invite".

All super admins, admins, and team members can create projects in their personal workspaces and organization workspaces.

5. Support and feedback

This workflow shows how enterprise users can manage organizations, invite members, create workspaces, and streamline project collaboration. It is especially useful for schools, departments, and growing organizations that need a structured, secure way to coordinate work.
